CEFE Northern Beaches was established in 2012. It meets every month via Zoom with face to face meetings when required. It is working closely with Zero Emissions Sydney North to ensure that Northern Beaches Councils target of having 50% of the roof space in the LGA equipped with solar by 2030 is realised.
In 2013 CEFE Northern Beaches was awarded a $60,000 grant from the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage to set up a not-for- profit company that would provide opportunities for people without a suitable roof of their own to invest in solar installations on commercial properties. The outcome was ClearSky Solar Investments Pty Ltd. We recently celebrated the successful completion of our first three projects with local representatives Michael Reagan, Rob Stokes, Jason Falinsky and Zali Steggall. You can watch the video, here.
